Food Lion Classroom Rewards
PHS is now involved with Food Lion's Classroom Rewards program. Please register your Food Lion MVP card, purchase Food Lion Private Brand products, and PHS earns money. Please follow the following steps to start helping PHS earn some extra money.
1. Go to foodlion.com
2. Click on My Food Lion on the right
3. Create a My Food Lion Account-located at the top beside Sign In
4. Fill in the required information on the Sign In page
5. Register your MVP card and link it to Portland High School
6. Now you are ready to save money and help PHS earn some

CASH REGISTER RECEIPT COLLECTION
PHS participates in "Apples for the Students" program. This program allows PHS to purchase needed technology needs from the collection of HG Hill grocery receipts. Please place your cash register receipts in the PHS box located under the window of the HG Hill office.
The program begins September 1, 2011 and ends March 30, 2012.

Computer Ink Recycling Program
PHS participates in a computer ink recycling program. Anyone may send to school their empty ink jet and toner cartridges.


PHS is expanding their recycling efforts. There is a recycling bin located on the cafeteria side of the building for cardboard, newspapers, office paper, and plastic. If you would like to learn more about the different recycling containers available for work, school, and home, please visit Recycle Away's website.

CREDIT RECOVERY
Credit Recovery is a way to get back on track and to help YOU graduate from PHS.
Credit Recovery allows individuals who have failed a subject to become successful in that subject.
